About the Role
Shan Distribution Network is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class C Delivery Driver to support local and out-of-state routes across our distribution network. This role involves operating 16-foot and 26-foot box trucks, completing scheduled deliveries, handling product carefully, and representing the company professionally at customer locations. The right candidate will be punctual, responsible, physically capable, and committed to safe, efficient route execution.
Responsibilities
- Operate 16-foot and 26-foot box trucks safely and professionally on local and out-of-state routes.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload deliveries in accordance with route schedules and company procedures.
- Operate lift gate equipment safely when making deliveries to stores, warehouses, and customer locations.
- Inspect truck condition before and after each route, including tires, lights, fluids, lift gate function, and overall vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, proof of delivery, and route-related communication with dispatch or management.
- Ensure cargo is handled carefully to avoid product damage during loading, transit, and unloading.
- Follow delivery instructions, customer requirements, and all company safety and service standards.
- Drive extended hours when required for scheduled regional deliveries while maintaining alertness and professionalism.
Requirements
- Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean and responsible driving record.
- Experience operating box trucks, including 16-foot and 26-foot units, strongly preferred.
- Comfortable driving both local and out-of-state routes with varying start times and route durations.
- Ability to safely operate a lift gate and manage routine delivery unloading tasks.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle product during deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.
- Strong sense of punctuality, accountability, and route discipline.
- Ability to follow DOT-related safety expectations applicable to the vehicle and route, along with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Professional attitude when interacting with customers, store staff, receivers, and internal team members.
